Launch That is seeking a spring or summer Human Resources Intern to work 25 to 40 hours a week in a variety of areas. Those areas cover the scope of HR: personnel, recruiting, HRIS, onboarding and offboarding. This is an opportunity to gain training and real-world experience in a modern, technology-driven HR department and at a young, growing and fun company.
Our internship pays $12.50 per hour and has a defined end-point based on candidate school/work and company needs.
Overall Business Impact: Productivity and Responsibilities
Organize and maintain our internal HRIS (BambooHR) with a variety of specific tasks and ongoing projects
Ensure proper documentation is completed for each employee in BambooHR related to Onboarding and proactively auditing to ensure compliance with organization and naming conventions
Offboarding assistance will include updating our HRIS system, addressing internal benefits system, and coordinating with IT
Assist with onsite activities related to candidate interviews: greeting, touring, facilitating, etc.
Assist in creating and maintaining job descriptions, as it relates to our Career Mapping
Assist with internal onboarding websites and materials for Launch That
Assist with E-Verify and sending out internal documentation to new hires (such as policies, NDAs, etc.)
Assist HR team with logistical support, such as: scheduling meetings, schedule phone and onsite interviews on behalf of Launch That
Assisting Talent Acquisition in sourcing qualified job candidates for Launch That and maintaining a database of digital talent using tools such as LinkedIn, Glassdoor, and Indeed
Attend job fairs, networking events, promotional events, and meetups on behalf of Launch That
Perform other duties or projects as assigned
Qualifications and Skills
Bachelor’s degree completed or nearly completed
Ability to communicate your passion for people, for fostering a culture of excellence
A desire for a career in human resources (personnel management, training and development or recruiting)

Basic understanding of HR’s function within the organization and the confidential information one may become privy to in the course of the job
Ability to work 25-40 hours per week

Excellent verbal and written skills, including in emails and instant messaging
Proficient in both Microsoft Office Suite and G-Suite products
Prior experience interning in an office environment and/or specifically in an HR capacity
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, Industrial Psychology, Sociology, Public Policy or other areas of study that relates to Human Resources
