Job Summary

Reporting to the COO and overseeing all Lunar sales activities, the Business Development Manager will be responsible for the entire B2B sales cycle to include lead and demand generation through to Client Acquisition. Serves as a key player in developing and nurturing business relationships and expanding revenue opportunities.


Entrepreneurial and Marketing Master:  You must identify future issues, current inefficiencies and design the future growth or our company. The development and execution of sales and marketing strategies will be the responsibility of the Business Development Manager.

Strategy Driver:   Discovering, creating and strengthening existing business relationships with internal and external customers through new opportunities within existing or new channels.  Leveraging your relationship skills to assist and influence the client. Steering the direction of our Customer Acquisition teams in terms of resourcing, financing and industry trends.

Big Picture Leader:  Analyze beyond the immediate product and service solutions.  Understand and foresee future impacts and risks.  Guide the clients through first class customized presentations to demonstrate our value proposition.

Results-driven:   Manage pre-sales and sales teams to deliver results beyond expectations.



  • Develop strategies to grow, nurture, and close the sales pipeline.
  • Develop and execute Account-Based Marketing, targeting decision makers, determining needs, increasing awareness, providing solutions.  
  • Increase, develop and manage business relationships with new and existing clients/customers to further increase additional revenue while retaining existing.
  • Develop and maintain account profiles and target personas.
  • Working in collaboration with Consulting Services, Marketing and Product Development for a fully integrated demand generation program that creates targeted lead generation, and increases top and middle funnel growth.
  • Generating, managing and reporting on targeted accounts, pipeline growth, and sales campaign performance.
  • Driving the evolution of our marketing support, using advanced targeting techniques to drive deeper customer acquisition and increasing value from customer base.
  • Drive key pipeline metrics including leads, MQLs, SQLs and Opportunities.
  • Take ownership of lead targets and forecasting.
  • Designing cross selling and upselling action plans to increase total client spend.
  • Originating comprehensive strategies to win new business from new and or existing business relationships.  
  • Creating campaigns and messaging that resonate with a diverse set of stakeholders.
  • Develop executive presentations to communicate strategy, priorities and results.
  • Forecast and present metric reports on the effectiveness of demand generation campaigns including leads generated, campaign performance, company’s pipeline, revenue attribution, opportunities created, cost per lead etc.


  • Proven and demonstrated ability to sell, influence, and consult with leaders, clients, and stakeholders within businesses.
  • Working collaboratively with consultants, project managers, and product experts to  scope and write SOWs.
  • Experience in identifying solutions from a Customer Acquisition/Sales process and technology perspective with a proven record of success.
  • Proven record of demonstrating the ability to manage and grow a successful professional services and/or SaaS business
  • Strong interpersonal and people management skills with proven success in motivating, mentoring and creating talented sales teams
  • Experience with business consulting, operations, project management, IT, and software development.
  • Experienced in managing Demand Generation teams and Customer Success Managers.
  • Strong understanding and experience with Salesforce is a must.
  • Excellent communication skills – written and verbal with emphasis on presentation and facilitation.
  • MBA preferred.
  • Travel as necessary.
